Pesto Sauce

This sauce is delicious mixed in pastas, served with toasted bread, or on chicken.

Ingredients

  • Cups fresh basil leaves
  • ¼ Cup pine nuts toasted
  • 2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ¼ teaspoon honey
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ Cup olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons water

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to bowl of food processor fitted with standard blade. Process 10 seconds, scrape sides, process 10-20 more second until finely chopped and blended.
  • Scrape into small bowl and gently stir to blend ingredients. Store in fridge in air-tight container.
