Dining Out
Part of the Cheat Sheet series

Let’s talk about dining out…
Is dining out derailing your health goals? While home-cooked meals are great for staying on track, we all deserve a break now and then. And let’s face it, sometimes eating out is just inevitable. It can be hard to stay on track when eating in restaurants, but I’ve got you covered with my top dining-out hacks! These tricks are my go-to for enjoying meals out without compromising my health goals.
How to use these tips
You may not be able to use every single one of these tips every time you dine out, but even using one or two can help! The more you can use, the more the impact compounds.
The one I use most frequently is “Have a Short List.” Since this tip alone automatically helps put the next two tips (Ingredient Quality and Preview Menu) into place, I recommend trying that one first for a big impact. When you have no control over what restaurant you’ll be dining at, the last 4 tips on this list will help immensely. So, give those a try in that situation.

Try This: Do a search for “healthy restaurants, (your hometown)” It’s not a guarantee that everything that comes up will in fact be healthy, but it’s a great place to get started.
