This Date Paste can be used as a spread, filling, topping, or an alternative to refined sugar in many recipes.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces pitted medjool dates
  • ½ Cup + 2 tablespoons water.

Instructions

  • Place dates in food processor and turn on. Pour water through chute and process until smooth and slightly whipped in texture. Stop several times while processing to scape sides.
  • Store in fridge for up to a month or keep in freezer and thaw before using for longer storage time.

Notes

  • Use this as a filling in bars or cookies.
  • This is a great refined sugar replacement in many recipes.
  • Delicious as a spread on waffles or pancakes
